In addition to being able to upload photos from your phone via MMS and email, you can now also send in your mobile video clips (as long as they're in either 3GP/3GPP or MP4 format)!

The only requirement for proper viewing of these video clips on the site is that Flash Player (http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayerCool is installed on your system.

As always, feedback and comments are appreciated! Smile

edit: QuickTime is no longer required! Using Flash instead Smile

Great addition to the site!!

The best one I've seen yet is the one where this guy just sits in a bed and stares at the phone lol!  Laughing

Ok, just noticed a 'problem'. When you view a video clip, in IE or FF, the little bar below does not have a slider. What's the point in the bar if there is no slider? You are able to click on it which then takes you to the desired point, but you aren't able to see the length of the clip, and it's just annoying  Laughing

Ah, now this I can explain, but not sure if I can resolve:

The videos are now in Flash format, not QuickTime as originally, due to increased support in all browsers and operating systems (also I'd just wiped my laptop and couldn't be bothered to install QuickTime Laughing Wink ). As a result, the files stream - that's the "progress" type bar you see - it shows how much it's pre-loaded I think. Problem is, due to a limitation of the flash format, it's not true streaming in that you can't skip from one point to another.

I think there may be either a new version of flash or some server platform which supports this, but I'm not sure. If it's free and I can do it, i'll update the vids, but i wouldn't hold your breath at the mo!

Ok, I suppose having it in flash format does help viewers who may not have QuickTime installed, and as you said - increased support. Just an idea.

Keep the good idea's coming aleco! Smile

What phone are they being sent from? Ooh wait, I think I've messed something up...forgot to test video clips after changing the way the pics were thumbnailed.

They're all on the server still so no need to resend them, I'll get to work and fix what I broke - soz about that!

edit: all fixed and working as normal - I'd deleted an important line of code by accident Embarassed

If you want to view the videos on your phone, you can just visit our wap site and download the video clip without needing flash installed Smile Just visit http://wap.mobmms.com on your phone!

Adult content isn't yet supported on the wap site, but this will be added in the nearby future.

Otherwise, you need Flash Lite, but only certain handset support that, and they usually come with it pre-installed
