i was quite calm straight after and have been since, im not one who enjoys a fuss being made. I can walk and put weight on it but im on crutches to stop it being bent. Im seeing a consultant tomorrow evening who should be able to give me some more information about how long im going to not be able to play football for!

Kind of had an accident on friday, was going down a hill in the cycle lane next to a line of traffic. Some bloke was going the other way and went through the traffic to turn right (he was going up the hill). I was doing around 30mph (cycle computer says i peaked at 44mph but i think its wrong!). Didnt see him until a second before i hit him and he didnt see me until i hit him! Went into his front wing (he had stopped as he shat himself). I smashed into his front lights and bounced off his windscreen/bonnet onto the road on the other side. 6 or 7 people stopped to help and an ambulance was called. Saw my knee cap which was quite cool.

A and E was painless, considering what i assumed i had done i wasnt in any pain, but it turns out that the 4inch wide gash and inch deep gash was all that it was a gash and there was no actual damage to anything! Would of been out in a few hours but i didn't know i was allergic to penicillin which i now know i am! Had an operation on my knee yesterday evening to clean it up and stitch it up from the inside.

The only actual damage i can see to my beloved cannodale is that the handlebars are broken in two.

I'm very lucky to be alive and with such little damage, on codine and 1000mg of paracetamol every few hours! So lala land for me. Thank fuck i was wearing a helmet.

i actually brought it back to life using wontan, rang orange and told them id managed to bring it back to life. they recommended i changed the phone anyway so at least i wont get done for scamming them by sending back a phone that is working perfectly!

its gone, its dead to the world. im gutted but i'll live because even though i only rang orange at 7pm and im getting a new phone in the morning. So i was all

Just a word of caution.  Not all on esato is as it seems.  SE could brand dog poo and they would buy it.  Not saying they are fanboi's of course heh

the w580i is a very pretty phone, i've just decided which phone im holding out for and it hasnt even been announced properly yet... the SE P700 saw some pics on esato and its stunning, its an m600 with a 3.2mp camera, M2 memory card (ive already got 1gb in my k800), wifi b/g, touchscreen, and its a smart phone. its stunning.

Only problem is that it hasnt been officially confirmed yet, but people on that forum have used it and said its an amazing bit of kit. I cant wait!!!

im a bit upset i didnt stay up last night, second quickest hundred ever scored by gilchrist last night!!! i just couldnt motivate myself to get out of bed... oh well

and again im a mentalist! went to bed at 10, listened to the toss at 2, decided that the aussies were going to destroy us within one session, set my alarm for lunch! Woke up to hear we had had an amazing first session! 69-3!!!! I got straight out of bed and will now have watched the two sessions!

ive always considered getting one cos i have weak wrists, but id be much happier with an ankle one

my mate has a powerball its very very difficult to get good at it, but you can seriously strengthen your forearms!
