Topic: samsung e700 was orange, now unlocked but dont know password  (Read 1758 times)

bangaloore

Hi,
Would greatly appriciate it if anyone can help, got a samsung e700 that used to be an orange pay as you go but had it unlocked (not unblocked, my mum gave it to me). works ok mostly but requires a password to do certain things like delete old photos and phonebook details. My mum said she didnt put a code in for any reason and the payasyougo handbook gives a few codes that dont work (seem to be applicable to the original orange sim not my vodafone sim). Please help? thanks for lookin

thanks for horus.ra, much appreciated. Got further problems now Smile
I had a push message from vodafone and this has sorted out my wap settings but i cannot get mms to function properly. I have tried many of the settings given in various forums but they have conflicting answers. All I get is 'network failed' followed by 'unable to send message'. Is there a size limit on pics? any help? thanks for reading.

Standard picture size across all networks is 100kb for 2.5g connections ( I believe some 3g networks have a limit of 300kb but cannot confirm that)

Also check that mms is provisioned on your sim/account
