Info read (including user & security codes)- All models, this service is FREE. Please follow instructions below and use the following login details

This allows FREE info read, and an opportunity to check all drivers are installed correctly before attempting to unlock. If you cannot use info read, please try to reinstall drivers. Unlocking will not work unless drivers are installed correctly, if the free info read works, then there should be no issues with unlocking.

After using info read to check you can use the service, if you require your phone unlocking (list of supported models at end) please purchase a credit through our website at http://www.mob453.com/unlocking/. Before starting please create a folder on your desktop called "Motorola" and unzip all the files included in this archive to that folder.

Minimum Requirements

A Pentium processor-based PC or compatible computer.

At least 128MB of RAM.

Windows 2000/2003/XP. This service will not work with Windows 95/98/ME.

Internet connection.

Step 1

Before you can use any function of the service, you must install all the Motorola drivers. If you have PST or Mobile Phone Tools already installed you can skip this step as drivers should already be installed.

Plug your USB data cable into your phone, switch the phone on. Windows should find new hardware.

1. Windows should now launch your wizard saying "Found New Hardware - USB Device"



2. The "Found New Hardware Wizard" is launched. 1. Choose "Install from a list or specific location {Advanced) 2. Click "Next"



4. 1. Click "Include this location in the search" box 2. Click the "Browse" button.


5. 1. Click local C:\ and manually search for the P2K folder. This will be the Motorola folder on your desktop where you extracted the files to earlier 2. Click "OK"

Please note, the locations in the pictures might not be exactly the same as you have.


6. Click "Next"

7. Click the "Browse" button.


8. 1. In Desktop/Motorola/ highlight the P2K folder. 2. Click "Open"

Then open the folder relating to your operating system.


9. 1. highlight P2K.sys. 2. Click "Open"


10. Click "OK"


11. Click "Finish" your done.


14. Although not necessary you can check your "Device Manager" to see if your driver is installed properly by going to "Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager" You should then see "Motorola USB Device" You are ready to unlock.

Although the process above looks very long, it shouldn't take more than a minute.

After doing the above, please reboot your computer, then plug the phone in and switch on again. If Windows does not find any more drivers they should be installed correctly, and you can test this by using the info read function as detailed on the next page.
